As an alternative suggestion, if your heart is set on a reddish wall, we suggest sampling a color like Sherwin-Williams "Cajun Red".  This color will complement your flooring and would also work nicely with Sherwin-Williams "Dromedary Camel" or "Ecru".  Again, because this red is a bolder color, you may choose to use it on only one wall as an accent wall.  The key is to sample colors on test boards and experiment with combinations that work best for you!

Not too excited about having a red wall with a green sofa.  However, the color brown could work very well if it is not over-used. 

You could sample a brown such as Sherwin-Williams "Kaffee".  If you like that color, it may be wise to just paint one accent wall with this dark color and paint the other three walls with a complementary color such as Sherwin-Williams "Artisan Tan". 

When looking for a brown color, it is important that you find one that will go well with your flooring too. 

We highly recommend that you sample all colors on test boards prior to painting the walls.
