Description: I just lightened the walls from Chestnut to Lenox Tan and accented the one wall in Kona Benjamin Moore. I painted all our trim white and the kitchen white/cream in my coffee top 1/2 walls. I tried homestead pumpkin resort on 2 walls in kitchen. YUK yellow. I need a 2 room help on colors and window treatments

Although those are all great colors they may not be the best choice for your home. Is your home a ranch style or does it have an open floor plan? I can't tell the scale from this picture but if you use lighter colors and colors that were very closely related, it will give your rooms a more open feeling. How about: Cream in my Coffee for your kitchen Hopsack for your living room. You can bring a chocolate brown drapery for color in your LR and a White faux wood blind for your kitchen. I think keeping your wall color on the light side will help out a lot - good luck!
